Spotlight on digital technology for textbooks at TAA’s 28th Annual Conference
Are you interested in learning how developments in digital technology provide opportunities as well as continually impact the landscape of the textbook publishing world? Join us at TAA’s 28th Annual Textbook & Academic Authoring Conference, where June Jamrich Parsons, digital book pioneer, will provide a Digital Book Report 2015 top-level update on the forces currently shaping the textbook market.
In addition, Dan Oja, president of Media Technics Corporation, joined by panelists Jamrich Parsons, Laura Frost, and Al Trujillo, will lead a discussion on Innovations in Digital Book Technology: Brainstorming Textbook Applications. The goal of this session is to think beyond current digital publishing technology and towards the possibilities–the features that make sense to enhance digital textbooks.
The conference also features a wide variety of textbook and academic authoring sessions that will provide tips on writing strategies, navigating ebooks, social media marketing, negotiating better contracts, targeting the right publisher or publication, and trends in open access and copyright law.
Benefit from the expertise of veteran authors and industry experts and meet one-on-one for a mentoring session to address your specific questions and concerns.
