Robert Christopherson

Geo-Primer history

A longtime favorite at TAA annual conferences has been Robert Christopherson’s Geo-Primer session that shares his unique perspective and stunning photography from the surrounding area. In our virtual conference environment, Christopherson will share highlights of past conference locations for the enjoyment of session participants.

Town Hall discussion

Laura FrostTAA President, Laura Frost, will lead a “Town Hall” discussion on the current state of textbook and academic authoring. Participants will have the opportunity to join in the conversation during the live session to share their own experiences of writing during the current pandemic. We want to know how your writing is going and what changes you have experienced as a result of the current events. We also want to hear what you think about the future of the authoring industry.

Awards Ceremony and virtual toast

The session will close with recognition of this year’s award winners. TAA Council Awards will be announced live and each of our 2020 Textbook Award winners will be formally recognized for their hard work and accomplishments. We will close the ceremony with a virtual toast to all the winners, so get your glasses ready.
