What are you currently working on?

I am working on a journal type book that students can use to track and improve their study approach to human anatomy and physiology.

Share a recent accomplishment.

I have developed an online course for students who struggle to understand physiology. Physiology is an integrated process across all anatomic systems. This makes it difficult for students to know where to begin learning it. My online course is titled 30-Day Challenge: Craft Your Plan for Learning Physiology and includes my new workbook, videos and access to my personal help. The big accomplishment this year is to be able to enroll students at a time convenient for them rather than on a set schedule.

What is your favorite textbook writing tip or strategy?

Before you finish each day’s writing think about what comes next. Make notes. Write the 6 next things to consider when you take up writing again.

What is your best TAA experience so far?

I have been to 2 conferences so far, San Antonio TX and Providence RI. I enjoyed both of them immensely for the topics covered an the camaraderie. The TAA staff has a knack for making strangers feel at home.
