My favorite books in this area are: Professors as Writers: A Self-Help Guide to Productive Writing by Robert Boice, and of course the elegant Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life by Anne Lamott.

TAA is a focused, dedicated group of writers; I love the passion. They bring a curiosity and openness to all things writing and publishing.
