Share a recent accomplishment.
I will be speaking in Santa Fe at the TAA Conference in June. I will be presenting on “Twenty-One and a Half Ways to Promote a Textbook at No or Low Cost.” I hope to see you there.

What is your favorite textbook writing tip or strategy?
My favorite books in this area are: Professors as Writers: A Self-Help Guide to Productive Writing by Robert Boice, and of course the elegant Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life by Anne Lamott.

What is your best TAA experience so far?
TAA is a focused, dedicated group of writers; I love the passion. They bring a curiosity and openness to all things writing and publishing.
