Busy TAA People: Spiegler authors 6th edition of psychology textbook
TAA member Michael Spiegler, a professor of clinical psychology at Providence College, has recently published the 6th edition of Contemporary Behavior Therapy, to be published by Cengage on January 1, 2015.
Contemporary Behavior Therapy synthesizes the most recent clinical, research, theoretical, and ethical facets of behavior therapy. It is simultaneously an introduction for undergraduates and a comprehensive, scholarly review and resource for graduate students and professionals in a variety of disciplines. All of the major behavior therapy procedures are discussed, and the latest research findings are presented and critically evaluated. Its engaging writing style with numerous examples, illustrations, and hands-on exercises that promote active learning makes it a “teaching book”—one from which students can easily learn.
