Busy TAA People: Margarita Huerta receives assistant professorship post

TAA member Margarita Huerta will assume a new post this fall as an Assistant Professor of English Language Learning/Early Childhood Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Huerta received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University in May 2013. In the last year, she worked as a postdoctoral research assistant with P.O.W.E.R. Writing Services at Texas A&M. With a research emphasis on science and literacy (specifically writing) integration in the classroom, Huerta has four peer-reviewed publications.
