Busy TAA Member: Sabrina Switzer-Wareing
Sabrina Switzer-Wareing is a Cambridge Trained/Coursework Certified Academic Professional for The Gary Herberger Young Scholars Academy/Arizona State University, a new concept established by Herberger and ASU. Switzer-Wareing was selected to become part of the launching professionals because of her background and expertise. She is currently working on a textbook featuring a compilation of her original plays which have been successfully produced. Some of these plays include bi-lingual Spanish and Chinese dialogue.
Her directing and acting background has included work with such professional companies as Phoenix Theatre, Actors Theater of Phoenix, Black Hills Playhouse, The Kohler Arts Center, and the Royal Shakespeare Company in the UK. As a video producer and director, she has created award-winning instructional, promotional, and quality improvement productions for a client list that includes, but is not limited to: American Express Corporation, PBS, The Rockefeller Group, Camelback Mental Health Foundation, Hospice of the Valley, The United Way, Kumagai Gumi Inc., Phoenix Convention Bureau, the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, The Ohio Educational Network, and the Maricopa Community College System.
In addition to her on-going work as a playwright, Switzer-Wareing has co-authored two university level workbooks in Nonverbal Communication and Conflict Resolution.
