TAA Member Kim Mogilevsky is the CEO of Analytic Orange, Inc. and a textbook author in the social studies discipline. Her most recent publication is Florida History Makers: Myself, My School, My Community. She is currently working on more Florida History Makers social studies textbooks for grades 1-5.
Share a recent accomplishment.
I’ve been selected as a presenter at the NAME (National Association for Multicultural Education) 2022 Annual Virtual Conference. My session is titled “Inclusive Social Studies Curriculum: Illuminating the Past and Lighting the Way Forward.”
What is your favorite textbook writing tip or strategy?
Write without fear, edit without mercy (and adhere to the state standards)!
What is your best TAA experience so far?
I love the friendly people, amazing resources, and the unique opportunities to learn and grow.
