TAA member Michael Sullivan is a retired, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics who continues his textbook authoring career in the mathematics writing discipline.
His most recent publications include Calculus for the AP Course, 3rd Edition, College Algebra, 11th Edition, Algebra & Trigonometry, 11th Edition, Precalculus, 11th Edition, and Trigonometry, 11th Edition.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on the 8th Edition of Precalculus Enhanced with Graphing Utilities.
What is your favorite textbook writing tip or strategy?
Once published, be sure to insist that your publisher obtain user reviews of your text. Then pay close attention to the recommendations and suggestions made and, of course, thank them for their support.
What is your best TAA experience so far?
Watching TAA attendees at the conference that I have mentored go on to publish their work.
