Member Spotlight: Daniel G. Bachrach
TAA Member Daniel G. Bachrach is Professor of Management and Robert C. and Rosa P. Morrow Faculty Excellence Fellow at The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business and is an academic author in the management discipline with additional academic writing in the areas of transactive memory systems and team performance.
His latest publication is Exploring Management, 7e and he is currently working on a revision of a textbook, Management (Schermerhorn and Bachrach), 15e, published by Wiley, which is coming out in 2022.
Share a recent accomplishment.
I was recently elected a Fellow by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (2019), The Association for Psychological Science (2019), and the American Psychological Association (2020).
What is your favorite textbook writing tip or strategy?
My best advice to any aspiring writer – whether the focus is academic writing or textbook writing – is to write every day. Take time, every day, to sit down and write.
What is your best TAA experience so far?
I really appreciate the regular communication from TAA about the resources available to members.
