Michael Sullivan releases new edition of his Precalculus textbook series

The four-book series consists of College Algebra, Algebra & Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Trigonometry. Published by Pearson Education, the series aims to develop a high level of mathematical understanding and an appreciation for the way mathematics can describe the world around us. These texts adequately prepare students for subsequent courses in business calculus, finite mathematics, and engineering calculus.  An Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Chicago State University, Sullivan has been writing textbooks for more than 35 years and currently has 15 books in print. His publishers include Pearson Education, John Wiley and Sons, and W.H. Freeman.

Sullivan is a member of the mentoring panel at TAA’s June conference in Las Vegas. The mentoring panel consists of a wide variety of authoring and publishing industry experts who have agreed to provide 15 minute mentoring sessions in their areas of expertise to conference attendees. Learn more
