TAA Council issues statement on racism

In a statement issued on June 19, 2020 – Juneteenth – the Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) Council has resolved to lead its members in establishing short term and long-term goals that affect positive change toward social equality in textbook and academic authoring as we move forward.

To this end, TAA will take more steps to make clear to its members, the publishing industry they work with, and colleagues in academia that educational resources and methods must be directed toward equitable and fair treatment of diverse minority individuals and groups.

The full statement is published on the TAA website.
